Practical courses

During the two semesters, students attend to ten physiology labs. Lab syllabi were prepared considering the following goals:
  • The lab should provide facilities for the utmost individual manual work.
  • The scheduled experiments should be supported with sufficient theoretical explanations.
  • Students should get an insight into the classical and the modern experimental methods.

The scheduling of labs is set by the Secretariat for International Study Programs (max. 16 students/lab). The timing of a lab can be changed at the beginning of the semester, if the student obtains permission from the instructor responsible. Students must be on time; for technical reasons, students who are late will not be allowed to participate in the lab. Each lab lasts 3×45 minutes without brakes (i.e., each lab lasts for 2 hours and 15 minutes).
